The woman was followed into the parking garage of Avalon Apartments during daytime hours on Saturday, June 6, Wharton police said in a release.
A woman trying to enter a parking garage in the Avalon Apartment was approached from behind by a man who, pushed her to the ground and took her purse, and other personal belongings, authorities said. He then fled the scene, police said.
The man was wearing a face mask during the incident, which concealed much of his appearance, authorities said.
